The Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies (OCHJS) is pleased to announce the opening of submissions for 2 Taube Prizes for Student Writing in Hebrew and Jewish Studies, generously funded by Taube Philanthropies. Current Master’s and DPhil students at the University of Oxford across Faculties working on any topic in Hebrew and/or Jewish Studies may each submit 1 written work—an essay, article, thesis/dissertation chapter, etc.— between 10,000-12,000 words to the OCHJS for consideration by the committee. The 2 candidates with the most original and promising written work each will be awarded a prize of £1,000.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 20th September at 12 noon UK time. The results will be announced in 0th Week of Michaelmas Term.
