Description:
James and his wife Emma Loewe died six months apart. They are buried together at Hoop Lane Cemetery London for members of the Spanish & Portuguese Jews’ Synagogue and the West London Synagogue. James composed the inscription himself , and the gravestone uses the spelling ‘Lowe’ and the inscription includes his Hebrew name, Yaakov Hayyim ha-Levi.
